Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds named Secretary of Republican National Convention

(WASHINGTON) – Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus last night named Iowa Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds to serve as the Secretary of the Republican National Convention.

The Republican National Convention will be held in Tampa next week, where she and Gov. Terry Branstad will join Iowa’s delegation for numerous events through Thursday night.

“It is an honor to be asked to serve as Secretary of the convention, and I want to thank Chairman Priebus for entrusting me with this position,” said Reynolds, from Des Moines. “I look forward to working with my fellow assistant secretaries of the Convention to ensure that we highlight our party’s great ideas for moving the economy forward and creating jobs in our country.”

Priebus also named the Deputy Secretary of the Convention and Assistant Secretaries of the Convention, published below.

Chad Connelly, Chairman of the South Carolina Republican Party

Brad Courtney, Chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party

Jan Staples, Maine National Committeewoman

Rosie Tripp, New Mexico National Committeewoman

Helen Van Etten, Kansas National Committeewoman

Betsy Werronen, District of Columbia National Committeewoman
