(John) Nick Davis, age 40, of Oskaloosa, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born on July 29, 1982, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of John Lee and Cynthia (Yoder) Davis.
Nick attended North Mahaska High School and graduated with the Class of 2000. During high school, Nick was in the Chorus and played percussion in the marching band. He then furthered his education at Indian Hills Community College, Central College and lastly William Penn University.
Nick worked at U.S. Cellular for a time and later for Doty Computers.
He enjoyed a variety of music. Nick also liked D.C. and Marvel comic books, mythology, anime, playing the drums, gaming on his computer, watching WWE Wrestling and he also thoroughly enjoyed reading.
His family includes his father, John L. Davis of Oskaloosa; his sister, Lorelei Davis of Oskaloosa and a niece, Cynny Davis.
Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Davis; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
As was Nick’s wish, his body has been cremated and there are no services planned at this time. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
