Oskaloosa–If only it were this easy every week as the Statesmen football team did not play and still moved up two spots in the NAIA’s fifth top-25 football rating on Monday.

William Penn (4-2) is now 16th with 137 points and continues to be the third-highest ranked team in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. #4 Baker (Kan.), #5 Grand View, and #21 Benedictine (Kan.) are also representing the Heart this week.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) remains #1 with 338 points and 12 first-place votes. Southern Oregon (two first-place votes), Morningside (one top vote), Baker, and Grand View round out the top five.

WPU returns to action Saturday by traveling to Peru, Neb. to face #26 Peru State in a Heart North Division matchup at 11 a.m.
