OSKALOOSA —The William Penn University Training Practicum class announces its fall 2013 seminar series. All sessions will be held on the William Penn campus and are free and open to the public. Reservations are not required, but do help in planning.

The topic list for the next two weeks is as follows:

· “Modern Times: Creating a Webpage.” Learn to use html and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to create your own webpage. Thursday, November 14, 3:30– 5:30 pm, Musco Technology Center 104.

· “Intro to Scratch.” Adults can learn ways to encourage creativity and introduce programming to elementary and middle school kids using Scratch. Saturday, November 16, 8:30 am–noon, Penn Hall 114. Bring a flash drive, and we’ll load the free Scratch software on it so you can access Scratch at home, offline.

· “Protecting your Computer (and yourself).” Protecting your privacy when accessing the internet. Tuesday, November 19, 3:30 –4:30 pm, Musco Technology Center 104.

· “Get in tune with iTunes.” Getting the most from iTunes. Wednesday, November 20, 3:30–4:30 pm, Musco Technology Center 104. Bring your iPod, iPad or just use one of our computers.

· “Learning and Making Keypress Shortcuts on Windows Machines.” Friday, November 22, 12:15–1:00 pm, Musco Technology Center 104.

· “Exploring Apps for your Android Phone.” Monday, November 25, 12:15–1:00 pm, Musco Technology Center 104. Be sure to bring your phone along.
