The Schedule for Oskaloosa Middle School Spring Conferences will be:

Thursday

1:00 – 4:00 Conferences in classrooms

4:00 – 4:30 Teachers Break for dinner and transition to Gym/Commons

4:30 – 8:00 Conferences resume in Gym/Commons

Friday

8:00 – 11:00 Conferences in classrooms

Dear Parents and Families,

We will be hosting parent/teacher conferences this Thursday from 1:00 pm –4:00 pm and 4:30 pm- 8:00PM and Friday morning from 8:00 – 11:00. We hope you will find time to come and visit with your child’s teachers and discover all the terrific things they are learning at OMS.

In order to make our conferences run as smoothly as possible, we have organized them a little differently this spring. We will offer opportunities to meet with teachers in classrooms during the daytime and in the gym and commons in the evening during the busiest hours.

On Thursday from 1:00-4:00 and Friday morning 8:00-11:00, our teachers will be in their classrooms. Thursday evening conferences are typically our busiest time. Therefore, our teachers will break for dinner at 4:00 and move to the spectator gym and commons area to meet with parents and families from 4:30-8:00. This should greatly reduce the wait-time that sometimes occurs during our busiest evening hours. Please stop in and visit at your convenience. We hope you will find time to join us for spring conferences later this week.
