Elaine R Linderman, 69, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the MHP Hospital in Oskaloosa. Elaine was born July 15, 1953, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Milton and Ellen (Selby) Linderman.

Elaine graduated from Eddyville High School in 1972.

After high school, Elaine went to work at Pella Corp, and retired from there in 2000.

In 1973, Elaine married Mike Waddell in Mahaska County, to that union, Stacy was born. They later divorced.

In 1983, Elaine married Steven Kauffman, and daughter, Jennifer was born, they later divorced in 1994.

Elaine had been a member of the Bethel Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed singing, collecting Denim Days, cooking, baking, and loved to host get togethers, with her friends and family.

Elaine is survived by two daughters: Stacy (& Charles) Davis of Lacona, Iowa and Jennifer (& Clayton) Wilcox of Ankeny; one brother, Jim (& Sherry) Linderman of Cedar; 3 grandchildren: Chase Davis, Ryder Davis and Camden Wilcox; two sisters-in-law: Patty Linderman of Osceola, and Mima (& Ivan) Plate of Des Moines; two aunts, Clover Robbins of Oskaloosa, and Joyce Quigley of Washington, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Gary Linderman.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 3:00 PM, in the Bates Funeral Chapel.
Family Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 prior to the service. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
