Central Reformed Trunk or Treat 2016
Central Reformed Church will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Monday, October 31st in the Oskaloosa Elementary School parking lot from 6-8pm. The event features many vehicles decorated for Halloween, with each giving away candy. “We are excited to be able to offer a fun and safe Trick or Treating experience for the entire family once again this year” commented Andy Baker, Executive Director of Ministry at Central Reformed. “This is simply a fun chance for our church to be creative, get out into the community, and provide a fun and different experience for kids.” This is the second year for the event, but its first year at the elementary school. The move was made due to construction at Central Reformed and to take advantage of the school’s well-lit parking lot. Last year church members turned their vehicles into all sorts of unique creations, from a re-creation of Super Mario Brothers to depictions of Toy Story and The Cat and the Fiddle. Baker says that church members have been dreaming up new ideas all year, and he’s excited to see what everyone comes up with this Halloween. The event will open at 6pm sharp and close at 8pm and is open to the entire community.
