Cassandra D. Ryan, 66, of Oskaloosa, died Monday, October 18, 2021, at the MHP Hospital in Oskaloosa. She was born June 25, 1955, in Sigourney, Iowa, the daughter of William and Barbara Montross Bock.

Cassandra graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1973. After a short break, she resumed her education at Central College in Pella, and earned her teaching degree in 1985.

She most enjoyed sharing the meals she created with all her family and the friends she always treated like family. Her grandchildren were her biggest delight and the light of her life.

Her family includes her two children, Amy (& Chad) Bollinger of Oskaloosa and Con (& Molly Armstrong) Mohr of Rose Hill; five grandchildren: Aidan, Brennan, and Chloe Mason and Finnigan and Daisy Mohr; three step grandchildren: Kale, Dane, and Nolan Bollinger; her brother, Jeff (& Donna) Bock of Caldwell, Texas; and nieces and nephews: Brandon (& Michelle) Bock, Brittany (& Joe) Meyer, and Benjamin (& Jessica) Bock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Steven Bock.

As was Cassandra’s wish her body has been cremated.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021, at the Kinsman Keep in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
