Statesmen Stage Huge Comeback to Open Heart Play

Malyk Thomas (Sr., Copperas Cove, Texas, Sports Management) earned the start on Tuesday and earned the right to wear the #22 jersey, in honor of the late Marquis Todd, who passed away tragically one day before a Heart Tournament semifinal game against Peru State in 2018. Since Todd's passing, it has become tradition for a member of the team to wear his number when the team squares off against the Bobcats.
