Then you won’t want to miss the 4th Annual Montezuma All-Iowa Writers’ Conference!

Amy Pollpeter, Criminalist with the Iowa Department of Public Safety’s Division of Criminal Investigation Crime Laboratory, will lead an exciting hour-long presentation about the differences between a real crime lab and the ones you see on TV. She will also walk through the progression of a case from crime scene to courtroom.

And Amy’s presentation is just one of the exciting talks that will take place at the Montezuma All-Iowa Writers’ Conference on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Montezuma Memorial Hall, 205 E. Main St., Montezuma, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., with registration starting at 8:30 a.m.

For just $25, you will be able to enjoy Amy’s presentation, as well as learn writing tips, get advice on how to choose a publisher and learn new ways to market your work as well as hear inspirational stories of success from wonderful Iowa authors! Those scheduled to attend are: Maribeth Boelts, Kevin Hansen, Jennifer Wilson, Calla Devlin, Catherine Knepper, S.C. Sherman, Jaylene Hall, Charles & Wendy Siefken, Lee Collins, Kathryn Daugherty, Michael Van Natta and Rachel Aukes with editor, Stephanie Riva.

Authors will be on hand to meet with attendees and many will be offering their books for sale throughout the day.

A light lunch will be available for $6. Door prizes will be given throughout the day and there is plenty of free parking available.
