Council Approves Payment on North Green Street Project.

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Oskaloosa City Council met in regular session January 7, 2013.

The consent agenda that included liquor licenses for Sodexo Management, Buck’s Place, O.G. Restaurant and Oskaloosa Elks Lodge were approved.

Jo Broerman was appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission, to fill an unexpired term that ends on December 31, 2013.

Mayor Krutzfeldt announced the public hearing on the sale of city-owned property located at 603 North D Street in Oskaloosa. With no comments, either written or oral, the hearing was closed. With that, Scotty Moore introduced a resolution that authorized the sale of the property with the minimum bid of $13,500.

The council also approved staff to solicit bids for replacement equipment at the water treatment facility, including replacement of the dual gas membranes, control panel and flame trap valves.

The council also approved change order No. 1 – final adjustment for a net decrease of $26,055.06 to Cornerstone Excavating, Inc for the work they completed on the North Green Street Paving Project. Then approved the Pay Request to Cornerstone Excavating in the amount of $24,422.62 for the completed work on North Green Street.

The council adjourned at 6:14.
