On October 3rd, the Eddyville Blakesburg Fremont High School Marching Band placed 1st in class 2A competition at the Urbandale Marching Invitational. Mahaska County Democrats are hosting a fundraising dinner Thursday, October 15 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 119 A Avenue East.
