WPU 24th in Postseason Poll
Oskaloosa–With the dust settled on the 2016 season, the Statesmen football team finds itself at #24 in the NAIA’s postseason top-25 poll Tuesday.
William Penn (7-4, 4-1 North) earn 31 points to remain in the top 25. The navy and gold are one of five squads from the Heart of America Athletic Conference in the ranking. Baker (#2), Grand View (#9), Missouri Valley (#11), and Benedictine (#23) are also rated.
Recently crowned national champion Saint Francis (Ind.) is #1 with 288 points and all 13 first-place votes. Baker, Reinhardt (Ga.), Eastern Oregon, and Marian (Ind.) round out the top five.
