William Penn University will be unveiling the new location for the Athletic Hall Of Fame on Saturday, October 3 at 9:00 am in the Penn Activity Center (PAC). The opening of the new Athletic Hall Of Fame on campus will be a special event held during Homecoming 2015. Previously located in the Gymnasium Foyer, the Hall Of Fame has outgrown that area and has been relocated and to the PAC. The new area is very spacious and has plenty of foot traffic for students and alumni to see and appreciate our unique history of athletic excellence. The new Hall Of Fame location will serve William Penn University in an honorable way for many years to come.

“The Athletic Hall of Fame is an amazing display of the great history of intercollegiate athletics at William Penn,” states Nik Rule, Director of University Relations, Booster Club Coordinator, and Head Women’s Golf Coach. “With the Penn Activity Center being one of the newest and busiest facilities on campus, we felt that the Athletic Hall Of Fame would fit in well there. It will serve as a constant reminder for our students, faculty, staff and alumni about one small piece of the amazing history we have at this institution.”

The 2015 Athletic Hall Of Fame inductees will be honored at a Recognition Banquet Friday, October 2. They will be officially inducted during halftime of the Homecoming game against Avila, which kicks off at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 3. This year’s inductees are James Jackson, class of 2007, Dan Mell, class of 2006, and Tyanna Helton, class of 2010.
