Varsity Girls Fall To Norwalk

Fighting to the end, the girls team came up just short in a 33-35 loss to Norwalk

Oskaloosa, Iowa – In the game until the end, the Varsity Girls came up short on a determined Norwalk team 33 to 35.

Kena Veldhuizen lead both teams putting in 9 points for the Indians, while Kenzie Gott added an additional 8 and Allie Christenson added 7 more. Kesley Kollasch added 6, Kenzie Seaton had 2 and Taylor Crawford had 1 point.

On the boards, Allie Christenson and Kenzie Gott each had 5 defensive rebounds with Christenson also pulling in an offensive one. Christenson also had 2 blocks on the night.

Norwalk’s leading scorers Dana Billingsley and Paige Lammers each put 8 on the board, with Hali VanVelzen adding an additional 7.

Oskaloosa will once again be in action at home Tuesday night.
