USSSA plays first games of the season at the Lacey Recreation Complex

The USSSA 11U team “Oskaloosa Lightning” played its first games in a double header against Albia at the Lacey Recreation Complex on Friday night. It was chilly and it was windy but 51 parents and friends still came to complex to watch these youth play baseball ! Julie Yates, parent of Lightning player Rian Yates said, “It is cold but it is good to be back at the complex and watching baseball !” Oskaloosa Lightning won both games by a score of 6 to 5 in the first and 19 to 5 in the second.
