USSSA Double Header at Lacey

Its definitely here! That glorious season when ball begins for our springtime pleasure. 146 fans came out to watch four USSSA 11U teams play a double header on Sunday April 10th at the Lacey Recreation Complex. “Oskaloosa Lightning” hosted as Albia Energy, Fairfield Cougars and Knoxville Panthers joined in the Sunday afternoon spirit of Springtime sports! Osky Lightning, the host of the double header, defeated Knoxville Panthers 8 – 5 in game 1, and 15 – 13 in game 2. Lightning improve to 4-0 for the year. Also, Albia Energy defeated Fairfield Cougars 8 – 6 in game 1, and 12 – 8 in game 2. Spirits were high on the fields, in the bleachers and even on playground as an afternoon of ball was played to set the season!
