Ukrainian Bishop To Speak At Oskaloosa Church

On Sunday, September 20, Bishop V’yacheslav Horpynchuk, leader of the Ukranian Lutheran Church, will be our guest preacher and will also lead our Bible class, here at Grace Lutheran in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

We are pleased to have the Bishop with us and invite you to our worship service at 9:00am. A brunch will be served at approximately 11:15am, after the Bible study.

We will also have a meet and greet in the afternoon that Sunday, Sept. 20, at 4:00pm, with a light meal being served. The Bishop will speak about the challenges in the ministry, and the joys, in Ukraine. We will close the afternoon with a hymn sing-along.

We invite everyone to join us. We would very much enjoy your presence. I’m certain it will be a special occasion to hear about the Gospel ministry in Ukraine.
