Tigers Get By The Indians
Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Grinnell Tigers got by the Oskaloosa Indians in Girls Tennis by a score of 5 to 6.
Oskaloosa Head Coach Bryan Kime said fought the windy conditions. “We continue to come out very sluggish in singles play. We had our chances but let it slip away. The girls season record is now 4-5. Josie Bunnell and Laura Fay picked up wins in singles before teaming up with their partners to win in doubles. Laura and Baylee continue to play well for us. Macy and Josie picked up a huge win to help them get a favorable seed at districts. This was a big win for them tonight. They still have a few things to clean up. The girls are back in action Thursday at Newton to conclude the regular season.”
