Oskaloosa, Iowa – For the 21st year in a row, the Front Row Challenge will shake up not only Oskaloosa, but the sprint car scene on the whole. This year, some of the best in the business will compete for over 20 grand.

Terry McCarl has been the man behind the success that is the Front Row Challenge, and he attributes his lifelong connection to racing to the success of the yearly event, held at the Southern Iowa Speedway.

“It’s usually a one-night stand for twenty grand, but we just had USA Chemical add another thousand, so there’s going to be twenty-one thousand to win for the 21st Anniversary”, says McCarl.

Once again, frisbees signed by the drivers will be tossed into the stands, and should your driver win a heat, you could win a 32” LCD TV. There will also be plenty of other swag for the fans, including hats and shirts with many other give-away opportunities. “It’ll be a lot of fun and a big night of racing”, says McCarl.

Many superstars of racing find their way to Oskaloosa and the Front Row Challenge, and this year is no different. Kyle Larson, who has won the Ultimate Challenge in the past, “wants another one of those awesome belts”, says McCarl of one of the more unique trophies in auto racing.

Joining Larson, will be Dave Blaney, Rico Abreu, Jamie Swindell, Danny Lasoski and Brian Brown, among others. Also scheduled to be in attendance is Brad Sweet, who is last year’s winner, and who drives one of the cars owned by Kasey Kahne.

Tickets are still available by calling 515-957-0020. You can order tickets right up until the day of the show, or you can get them at the gate.

Racing is scheduled to start around 7pm on Monday, August 8th.
