Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group

Oskaloosa, Iowa – As announced in past Communicator issues, the Chamber would like to sell a unique postcard booklet this spring. This is where we need YOUR help! Please submit your Oskaloosa/Mahaska County photos (in digital format) to ddegroot@oacdg.org. We are looking for photos of tourist attractions in Mahaska County, parks, recreation, Main Street Events, scenery – a nice photo that you would want to send to a friend on a postcard! Be sure to include your name, address and contact information in the email. You can submit as many photos as you would like!

Your submitted photos may be used in a variety of merchandise products as well as our Oskaloosa Chamber book (printed every other year), the OACDG website, Communicator, and possibly other materials produced by the Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group. However, please note that you will NOT make any profit from submitting your picture, just COMMUNITY PRIDE. We will give you photo credit for your picture in our printed materials and you can be proud to see your work representing and supporting your community!

So here is how it works:

1. Email us your picture taken in Mahaska County to ddegroot@oacdg.org : It can be a picture of art, culture, entertainment, family, gorgeous scenery in any season, unusual architecture, etc. – anything in Mahaska County! Submitted photos will become the property of the Oskaloosa Area Chamber and Development Group.

2. A jury will look at the submitted photographs and choose 25 to be used in the Postcard Booklet, which will be sold at the Chamber Office and through other OACDG activities. Photos not selected for the Postcard Booklet may be used in other printed materials throughout the year.

3. Time is running out! The deadline to submit your photos for consideration is JANUARY 15, 2013
