Oskaloosa, IA — The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has issued a Moderate Risk for severe weather in Oskaloosa, Iowa, today, warning residents of potentially dangerous conditions. This elevated risk category indicates a significant threat of severe thunderstorms, including the possibility of strong tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail.

According to the SPC, the most hazardous period is expected from the late afternoon into the early evening hours. Here are the primary threats:
