Rhoads Takes Weekly Award

Oskaloosa–Megan Rhoads (Jr., Schertz, Texas, Psychology) posted two strong rounds to start the season and her efforts earned her the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week honor Monday.
Rhoads won her second career laurel after helping the Statesmen to a runner-up finish at the Mount Marty Invitational Thursday and Friday.
The junior, who was named to the all-tournament team, shot a 157 (76-81) to place second out of 82 players. She is seeking to improve upon an 81.8 stroke average from a year ago.
The honor is the first of the year for WPU.
