Pella Corporation External Threat Lockout Lifted

Pella, IA – On April 2, 2019, at approximately 10:21 a.m. the Pella Police Department received a call concerning a potential threat to an employee at Pella Corporation Headquarters in Pella. Pella Corporation officials put their campus into lockout procedure. The person of interest was located by Mahaska County law enforcement and in cooperation with the Pella Police Department the threat was determined to not be credible and Pella Corporation lifted the lockout procedure at approximately 12:50 p.m.

The Pella Police Department wishes to let members of the community know that the lockout measures were taken out of an abundance of caution, and there was no imminent risk to the community.
