Oskaloosa Volleyball Historic Season Ends At Xavier
Cedar Rapids – The Oskaloosa Girls Volleyball team had their historic season come to an end at Cedar Rapids Xavier on Tuesday night.
The #15 Indians lost in three sets to #1 Xavier 16-25, 24-26, 19-25.
Head Coach Jennifer Comfort commented, “I don’t feel the score reflected how competitive the match really was. The Indians went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the state and proved they belong in the top tier. Oskaloosa will return every athlete, and they will all come back better and hungry for a Green Banner and MORE next season. I’m so proud of the work this team put into preparing for this season and improving as this season progressed. We challenged them to be great THIS year, and they surpassed all our expectations. And not to mention they did all of this under the shroud of COVID-19 regulations and uncertainty! The coaching staff is so proud and appreciative of every person on this team!”
