Fourth Weekly Award for Milder

Oskaloosa–Sil Milder (Fr., Arnhem, Netherlands, Sports Management) was again honored by the league as he was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Monday.

Milder garnered his fourth weekly laurel after helping William Penn secure the regular season conference crown last week.

The freshman managed three saves last Wednesday as WPU tied Grand View. Three days later, he recorded four more stops so the navy and gold could post a draw against Graceland. The results were enough to keep William Penn in first place in the standings, winning their first-ever regular season league title in program history.

Milder is now 10-0-8 with 47 saves and a 0.61 Goals Against Average. He is the owner of 11 shutouts this fall.

WPU now has nine weekly awards this year.
