Oskaloosa Middle School Wrestling Battles At Home Meet

Oskaloosa Middle School wrestling was in action at home this week.

On Tuesday 12/13, the Middle School grapplers were in action in their first home meet of the year. In only their second meet of the year the Oskaloosa matmen battled some stiff competition from Albia, Sigourney, Moravia, Pekin and Twin Cedars. When the dust had settled, Oskaloosa tallied 16 wins. All of the wrestlers showed notable improvement since their last meet and were even praised for this improvement by one of the referees who was at their last meet in Pella, “They look like a whole different team, it’s amazing”. Overall the coaches were pleased with this growth and hope to continue improving tonight as they travel to Norwalk to take on Indianola, Norwalk, North Polk, and Southeast Warren.
