Oskaloosa Girls Golf Continues Progress in Match Against Pella

PELLA — The Oskaloosa girls golf team continued its spring campaign with a dual meet against the Pella Dutch on Thursday at Pella Golf and Country Club. While the final scores favored the hosts, the evening was marked by ideal weather and signs of steady improvement from the Indians.

Oskaloosa posted a varsity team score of 217, falling short of Pella’s 189. The junior varsity squads also gained valuable experience, with JV1 finishing at 251 and JV2 at 291.

“We played better than we did on Tuesday,” said the coaching staff. “It was a beautiful night for golf, and the girls are continuing to grow. The results don’t quite show it yet, but that’s how golf goes sometimes.”

As the team builds toward stronger performances later in the season, individual growth and team chemistry remain key focuses. The Indians will look to carry the momentum of small improvements into their next outings on the course.
