OMS Wrestlers Battle Through 145 Match Competition

The Oskaloosa Middle School Mat-Men traveled to another warrior nation on Thursday to battle numerous teams in a one hundred forty five match competition. Norwalk hosted Ames, South East Warren, Indianola, North Polk and Oskaloosa in battle of guts. Those Indians winning matches for Oskaloosa were Riley Siroky with 2, Zach Beebe with 2, and Zack Piersel with 2. Winning 1 match for the mighty mat-men was Leland Evans, Phillip Abrahamsen, Warren Feunder, Chase Irving, Dylan Evans, Anthony Irving, Andrew Else, Landon Hunolt, and Lucas Phillips. Those competing for the Indians were Darian Tremmel, Alex Garmen, Harrison Kargol, Bryce Beerbower, Dawson Braden, Vlad Munger, Cason Shilling, Christian Cavan, Jason Garrett, Seth Kargol, Aiden Hildebrand, Blake Olson, and Will Campbell. The team was supported by 2 outstanding managers of Jana Comstock and Skylar Hobbs. The coaches would like to thank everyone that came to support the Indians making the meet a memorable one. Next competition is January 5th starting at 4:30 in the Middle School Gymnasium. We hope to see you there.
