OHS Girls Track Travels To Norwalk

The girl’s team traveled back to Norwalk tonight for a triangular with DCG and host Norwalk. This is the meet where the girls get to create the lineup. It’s a laid-back meet getting ready to gear back up for Districts next week.

There were some surprises and a lot of fun experiences had by the girls tonight.

First place finishes included:
Maleah Walker in the long jump
Maleah Walker in the high jump
Maleah Walker in the 800
Hannah Quang in the 400 hurdles

There were 7 personal records set on the night. Four of them coming in the open 100 which was a nice surprise.

The team has two more meets in the next week. The team travels to Pella on Monday for a co-ed meet and then back to Pella again on Thursday for the District track meet.
