OHS Boys Golf Advances To State

The guys finished 2nd place and they have qualified for state again! The seniors led the way, with Carter Parks and Joe Glasgow battling all day and shooting 81 and 83 respectively. Tucker DeJong finished strong with an 84. Johnathon Terpstra shot 87 and competed all the way through the round. Keaton Flaherty followed that up with an 88 and Ryan Carriker got to see his first district round up close and personal.

Proud of this group, they really play for each other and they wanted to keep going and now they’ll get to!

They will play next Thursday and Friday (sorry teachers) at Marshalltown (Elmwood) with the best teams in the state!
