NM Golfers Sweep Triangular

LYNNVILLE – North Mahaska’s golfers had one of their best outings of the season sweeping a triangular with Lynnville-Sully and Montezuma. NM girls won with a 214 while L-S and Montezuma scored a 224 and 236 respectively. On the boy’s side, North Mahaska shot a 164, Monte 200 and L-S finished with a 226.

All six NM golfers shot in the 40s or better. Lucas Nunnikhoven shot his best round of the season to earn medalist honors with a 37. Jaxon VanDerVeer was runnerup with a 40. Jack Kelderman carded a 42 and Cooper Sampson shot a 45. Hunter Wernli and Travis Castaneda carded a 45 and 46 respectively.

Aly Steil took girl’s honors with a 49. Lynnville-Sully’s Olivia Beyer was runnerup with a 52. Jocelyn Pinkerton and Elise Westercamp followed with 53s. Lacey Campbell rounded out the scoring with a 59. Breckyn Schilling shot a 60 and Addison VanDerBeek shot a 61.
