NM Boys Open at BP
BELLE PLAINE – North Mahaska’s boy’s track team opened the 2025 season at Belle Plaine Thursday scoring five points. English Valleys won the met with 181 points followed by Grundy Center with 155. Host Belle Plaine was third with 134.
Senior Axl Patterson had the best individual finish of the night taking fifth in the 3,200 meters inn 11 minutes, 46.60 seconds. William Cox was sixth in the 200 meters in 25.37. The other top six performance came in the 800-meter medley relay, who placed fifth with a time of 1:48.20.
The team will return to action Thursday when they host the North Mahaska Invitational.
