NEW YOUTH THEATRE DIRECTOR AT GEORGE DAILY

OSKALOOSA, IA — The Daily Youth Theatre is thrilled to announce the new Youth Theatre Director. Andy McGuire, an Iowa native, joins the Daily team just in time for a new after school session. An open house, a chance for students, families, and community members to meet Andy and ask him questions, will be held in the Auditorium boardroom on Friday, January 4th from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.
“I wanted to meet the community and families before we dive into the new session,” said McGuire. “The open house will be a fun way to kick off the 2013 youth program.”
Information about the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s residency of The Secret Garden, as well as brochures and registration forms for the February-March after school program, Daily Arts Academy, will be available.
“I believe that the experience and the process of theatre is just as, if not more, important than the theatre productions themselves,” said McGuire. “My top priority is creating a program that has a place for anyone who wants to do it, at all levels of talent.”
