Oskaloosa–Austin Munoz (Jr., Harrisville, Utah, Sports Management) was not only considered the best goalkeeper in the league last week, but also the best in the entire nation as he was named NAIA Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday.

Munoz is the first player in program history to garner the award, doing so after leading William Penn to a 1-0 double-overtime road defeat of #15 MidAmerica Nazarene last Saturday.

The junior posted five saves in just under 102 minutes of action for his first career shutout.

For the year, Munoz is 4-1 with a 1.03 Goals Against Average and one shutout. He has recorded 27 saves in 436 minutes of action.
