Men’s Basketball Scrimmages Open to Public

The Statesmen basketball team will be holding two scrimmages in the upcoming days and both are open to the public free of charge.
William Penn first hosts Ellsworth Community College Friday at 5:30 p.m. The navy and gold then host a doubleheader next Wednesday, beginning with the varsity facing Simpson at 6 p.m. and the JV taking on the Monroe County All-Stars at 8 p.m. All games will be played in Penn Gymnasium.
William Penn, who qualified for the NAIA Division II National Tournament last year, has been picked to win the Midwest Collegiate Conference title this winter.
