MCG to Partner with Tyler Sash Foundation / GBNBgear
(Oskaloosa, IA) Mahaska Communication Group (MCG) and the Tyler Sash Foundation / GBNBgear are excited to announce a 2012 marketing campaign that will cross promote both organizations.
MCG will use Tyler Sash and his GBNB Gear in their marketing and promotion efforts throughout the year to bring awareness to the Tyler Sash Foundation. MCG also plans to include the foundation in a number of MCG sponsored events this year including the annual eCycle event which will be held in April and the Hospice / MCG Golf Under the Lights tournament held in May.
MCG’s relationship with Tyler started in part through MCG’s broadcasting of the Oskaloosa Indian Football games over their local content channel. After graduating from Oskaloosa High School, Sash played football for the University of Iowa and was drafted by the New York Giants in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Tyler founded the GBNBgear Apparel line to start funding the Tyler Sash Foundation. All profits from the sales of GBNBgear go directly to the Foundation to benefit the needy, specifically disadvantaged children in Oskaloosa and Southeast Iowa. So far the Foundation has donated apparel and autographed sports gear and photos to help raise more than $100,000.
Both, MCG and the Tyler Sash Foundation have a history of giving back to the community. By teaming up, both organizations hope to bring greater awareness of each others efforts and resources that benefit Oskaloosa and the Southeast Iowa areas.
