Marion County Accident Claims Life of One
Iowa State Patrol Squad Car
Marion County, Iowa- One person is dead after a one vehicle accident in Marion County. According to an Iowa State Patrol Crash Report, the driver of a 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was heading North on 42nd place when the vehicle “struck the bridge railing at White Breast Creek and caught fire.”
The driver of the vehicle was deceased at the scene of the accident. The driver was taken to the state medical examiner in Ankeny to confirm their identity. The accident currently remains under investigation. The Iowa State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Marion County Fire.
