Darci Fuller, ARNP, FNP-BC, Joins Mahaska Health Emergency Medicine Team

Mahaska Health is pleased to welcome Darci Fuller to the Emergency Medicine team. Darcie Fuller, ARNP, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Emergency Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. She brings extensive experience from both emergency care and rural health settings.

Early in her medical experience, she cared for patients on Medical/Surgical units, in the ICU, and the ER. She spent ten years working as a team leader with RNs, paramedics, EMTs, and patient care techs in numerous Emergency Department settings. She has also served on the Hospitalist Care Team as Advanced Nurse Practitioner for acutely ill or injured community members. Her clinical background includes a focus on comprehensive, accessible care for patients of all ages.

“Darci’s background in both rural health and emergency care will be a strong asset to our teams,” said Dr. Matthew Gritters, Chief Medical Information Officer and ER Medical Director. “Her patient-centered approach and commitment to compassionate, high-quality care reflects our mission.”

Born at Mahaska Health and raised in Iowa, Darci is grateful for the opportunity to care for the community she grew up in. She takes a patient-centered approach to care by listening closely, involving each patient’s support system, and providing clear education to support informed decisions.
