Mahaska County Y Dolphins Swim Team Meet Results
Oskaloosa, February 8, 2012 – The Mahaska County Y Dolphins Swim Team has begun its final swim to the finish, completing the last home meet of the season on January 28, 2012. This meet saw contestants from the Centerville, Washington, Newton, and Marion YMCAs swimming with the home town Dolphins. The Mahaska County Y Swim Team prepares for the final three post-season events of the year, with Sectionals February 11 in Waukee, State March 3 and 4 in Marshalltown, and the Regional competition March 31 and April 1 in Minneapolis.
Swim Team Coach Wade Bolibaugh said, “The Dolphins have performed well this year and have exceeded the coaching staff’s expectations. We are looking forward to seeing our swimmers excel in the Sectional, State, and Regional meets.” As the curtain falls on the end of another successful YMCA Swim Team season, the Mahaska County YMCA and the Dolphins Swim team want to say thank you to all the loyal Dolphin fans for their support throughout the lengthy season.
