Little League Draws To An End

Oskaloosa, Iowa – Little League has come to the end of its season at the Lacey Recreation Complex this summer.

Sunday night the Mahaska County Little League All Stars championship game was played between the Mahaska American and Newton to finish out the District 4 Little League 11-12 year old boys championship.

Mahaska American, an Oskaloosa team, competed against Newton in the championship with Newton claiming the victory. Newton took second place overall in the District right behind Knoxville. Knoxville will be advancing to the Little League Baseball State Tournament hosted by Raccoon Valley next weekend in Des Moines. Good luck!!

Despite the heat and the early rains, Little League has had a great season of ball!
