Interiors by Val hosts Business After Hours

Oskaloosa Area Chamber & Development Group Diplomats would like to invite all Chamber members and their employees to join host Interiors by Val for refreshments at Business After Hours Thursday, October 18, from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. They are located on the south side of the Oskaloosa Square at 116 1st Avenue East.

Owner, Val Van Waardhuizen is happy to introduce designer, Janel Campbell to their staff.

Janel began her career in professional design over nine years ago. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Housing and Interior Design with a minor in Fine Art from Missouri State University in 2003. Most recently she was the showroom manager and senior designer for Global Granite & Marble in St. Louis. She moved to Oskaloosa with her husband Wyndell and daughter Lacey, and joined Interiors By Val in August. She enjoys working with clients, assisting in designs and sales. She is assisting in maintaining the library of samples along with working directly with the processes, product displays and building relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. In the plans are design seminars at Val’s showroom in downtown Oskaloosa. What Janel most enjoys with the design industry is hearing a customer say “you made this easy and enjoyable.”

Whether someone is replacing a countertop or building a new home, Interiors by Val assists, offers great designs, critically evaluates the correct material for the application, and ultimately works to make the customer feel comfortable and enjoy their experience. Interiors by Val is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9-5, Thursday 9-6:30, evening and weekends by appointment.
