Helping To Keep Osky ‘Clean and Green’

The Mahaska Masters most recent community service project was held on June 11th at Edmundson Park.

In 2004, the Monroe Movers had created the beautification project along the bike trail with a couple of trees, a few bushes, decorative rock, and a park bench. That club has since disbanded, but some of the same members joined and formed the Mahaska Masters 4-H Club.

This year it was decided that the area needed some sprucing up by trimming bushes, pulling weeds, and laying new mulch. The members also walked along the bike trail and picked up litter.
