GRINNELL’S ATHREYA IS MWC TENNIS PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Sadhana Athreya ’14 (Gurgaon Haryana, India/Shri Ram School) has been named the Midwest Conference Women’s Tennis Performer of the Week.
Athreya was a perfect 6-of-6 over the week, recording victories at No. 1 singles as well as No. 1 doubles against Central College, Lake Forest College and St. Ambrose University. All three matches were 9-0 Pioneer victories as Grinnell improved to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the Midwest Conference South Division.
For the season, Athreya is 4-2 in singles play and 4-1 in doubles with Laura Krull.
