GRINNELL’S WEIDMAN NAMED TO ALL-MIDWEST CONFERENCE VOLLEYBALL TEAM

GRINNELL, Iowa – Claire Weidman ’15 has been named to the 2013 All-Midwest Conference Volleyball Team
Weidman, a 5-10 outside hitter from Flossmoor, Ill. (Homewood-Flossmoor), earned a spot on the second team. She led the Pioneers in kills per set with 3.13, which ranked third in the MWC, while also averaging 1.96 digs per set and 0.35 blocks while hitting .177.
Cornell College swept the top awards, as Kathleen O’Connor was named Player of the Year and Jeff Meeker Coach of the Year.
