GRINNELL’S BROWN NAMED TO NSCAA SCHOLAR ALL-REGION MEN’S SOCCER TEAM

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College men’s soccer player Joseph Brown ’15 has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Scholar All-North/Central Region Team for the second year in a row.

Brown, a forward from Berkeley, Calif. (Berkeley), was named to the honorable mention squad.

He is a three-time All-Midwest Conference first-teamer and was recently named to the All-North Region third team.

Brown ranked second in the MWC in points (23) and goals (eight) and was third in assists (seven). He ranks second all-time at Grinnell in assists with 18 and is fifth in both goals with 31 and points with 80.

Brown also set a school record for assists in a match with four this season.
