GRINNELL TEAMS RECEIVE ACADEMIC HONORS FROM NATIONAL SOCCER COACHES ASSOCIATION
GRINNELL, Iowa – The Grinnell College women’s and men’s soccer teams have earned the Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the 2014-15 campaign.
Grinnell is one of 208 schools to have both its men’s and women’s squads win the award. Teams must have a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher to be honored.
The Pioneer women’s teams had a GPA of 3.45 and the men’s squad a 3.21.
Both Grinnell teams have earned the honor 13 seasons in a row.
