Grinnell and Dubuque Play to Scoreless Draw

DUBUQUE, Iowa — August 29, 2025
Grinnell and the University of Dubuque women’s soccer teams finished in a 0–0 tie at Oyen Field.

Dubuque outshot Grinnell 6–2, including a 3–1 advantage in shots on goal. Grinnell goalkeeper Peyton Dixon recorded three saves in 90 minutes. Dubuque goalkeeper Karissa Cruz finished with one save.

The Spartans led in corner kicks 11–3. Fouls were nearly even, with Grinnell committing six and Dubuque eight. Neither team was called offsides, and no yellow or red cards were issued.

Possession favored Dubuque at 66 percent compared to Grinnell’s 34 percent.

The match lasted 1 hour and 43 minutes and was played in front of 85 spectators. Grinnell moved to 0–0–1 on the season, while Dubuque also stands at 0–0–1.
