Girls Scouts Make Donation To Stephen Memorial

OSKALOOSA – Who doesn’t love helping animals in their community? The Oskaloosa Girl Scouts organized a collection of 587 items for Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter last Saturday prior to attending the Missoula Theater’s production of Aladdin. Fifty one girls attended the play, and of those, 12 had roles in the production.
The Girl Scout organization in Oskaloosa makes every effort to tie a community service project into the fun activities girls are involved in. Other organizations that have benefited from this effort are the Crisis Intervention Center and Ecumenical Cupboard.
