FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR SGT. ERIC STEIN, KEOKUK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, HAVE BEEN FINALIZED
Sigourney, IOWA — The family of Sgt. Eric John Stein, 54-3, has finalized funeral arrangements for the 11 year veteran of the Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office.
Visitation & Funeral
Visitation for 39 year old Sgt. Stein will be held Friday, April 8, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Sigourney Jr/Sr High School. The high school is located at 907 E. Pleasant Valley, Sigourney, Iowa.
The Funeral for Sgt. Stein will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., also at the Sigourney Jr/Sr High School.
All Honor Guards should report to the Sigourney Jr/Sr High School by 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2011. All other Peace Officers should arrive prior to 12:00 p.m.. Upon arrival, Peace Officers should report into the High School cafeteria to receive a white carnation. All public safety vehicles are requested to arrive prior to 12:00 p.m. and park in the designated public safety parking area as directed.

Memorial Fund
A memorial fund for the family of Sgt. Stein has been set up at Keokuk County State Bank (641-622-2525) located at 201 S. Jefferson, Sigourney, Iowa 52591. The account is under the name Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors: in Honor of Sgt. Eric Stein Memorial Fund. One hundred percent of all contributions will be provided directly to the family of Sgt. Stein.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to the Memorial Fund.
